Bojan Bogdanović, Principal ReDEWeB Fund Manager, Renewable District Energy, Western Balkan
Bojan Bogdanović is a graduate engineer in mechanical engineering from Belgrade.
From the very beginning of his professionl career, he was employed on managing positions in JKP “Beogradske elektrane“, within several diverse organizational units. He participated in the work and managed the unit for the implementation of the Rehabilitation Program of the District Heating System in Belgrade, financed by the EBRD and SIDA. He actively participated in and led several international projects from the Horizon 2020 Program and collaborated on international projects with institutions such as UNEP, EBRD, KfW and IFC. He has been employed for the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development since the beginning of 2019 as the Principal Fund Manager for Renewable District Energy in the Western Balkans (ReDEWeB) in the development of projects, markets and regulations for the application of renewable energy sources in district energy.
He is the author and co-author of a number of papers in the field of district heating published in the country and abroad, as well as and the organizer of thematic groups and forums at congresses on HVAC.
He is President of Serbia Green Building Council (SrbGBC) and a member of SMEITS, the Society for HVAC and the Chamber of Engineers of Serbia. He is the holder of the Medal of the HVAC Society
