Mario Turković has more than 15 years of working experience in public and private sector.
He was a member of Croatian Negotiation Team in EU negotiations process within the Chapter V - Public Procurement responsible for concessions and PPPs and therefore operationally responsible for setting up of the legal and institutional framework for public-private partnership (PPP) and concessions in Republic of Croatia. He was the author of the first PPP Law in Croatia (as well in region) and all other PPP related legislation. During his time at the Agency for Public – Private Partnership he was responsible for assessment and approval of different PPP projects, including the Zagreb Airport Concession Project which is still the largest PPP project contracted and successfully implemented in Croatia.
Mario is currently CEO at EnergoVizija Ltd., Zagreb, the company specialized in provision of technical, financial and legal consultancy services for preparation and development of different infrastructural projects, especially in sectors of energy, energy efficiency and social infrastructure. For last couple years he has been engaged by different international organisations (OECD, IFC) in many countries (Albania, Montenegro, Turkey, Ukraine) as PPP expert, responsible of assisting to relevant institutions in development of the legal and institutional framework and capacity building in the area of PPPs and concessions.
